Welcome to the web site for Vicki Childs and Amanda Panda.  You will learn about Vicki and some of the things she likes to do.  And you will learn about Amanda and her adventures.  You will have a chance to ask Amanda questions and send messages to both Vicki and Amanda.  We hope that you enjoy meeting us and sharing our fun.

I hope that you enjoy this picture of Vicki and Amanda.  The picture includes Jim Desch of Balloon Flying Service of Oregon.  He is the balloon pilot of the Starship.  We took our first balloon flight in September of 2002.  You will learn more about that flight when you read the book Amanda Flies High, 

Amanda has a new adventure and a new book that came out in the summer of 2005.  She and Vicki have been riding the sternwheeler Willamette Queen.  This adventure is told in a new book Amanda on the River.  We have been learning about the history of the riverboats on the Willamette River.  I hope that you will enjoy learning about  the sternwheelers, too.
